Lane closures will be for approximately 15 minute intervals between 7am and 5pm while excavation work is underway. This section of road is subject to a 5 tonne GVM limit due to soft shoulders.   • Petrie Terrace closed between Milton Road and Caxton Street, excepting local traffic.
  • Milton Road closed inbound between Park Road and Petrie Terrace and
  • Caxton Street closed between Hale Street and Petrie Terrace.
  Coronation Drive and Hale St will remain open at all times. Re-directional signs will be placed on the major routes approaching the Stadium.
  Minor Roads closed for an hour following the game are:
  • Cribb Street between Railway Terrace and Milton Road.
  • Paten Street, Black Street, Granzella Street.
  Minor roads closed for 2½ hours before and 1 hour following the game are:
  • Castlemaine Street, Chippendall Street, Finchley Street, Mayneview Street, Parkview Street and Cordova Street.
  Motorists attending the event should also be aware of the 15 minute parking restriction that applies to the Suncorp Traffic Area on match days.

  The Brisbane Lions v Geelong Cats AFL match is being held at the Gabba on Sunday the 23rd of June 2013 from 4:40pm. Traffic congestion may be experienced on Stanley St, Vulture St, and Ipswich Rd from 3:10pm on match day.
  
  Motorists on the Pacific Motorway may also experience congestion from this time at the northbound Stanley St Exit 2 and Stanley St onramp and southbound across the Captain Cook Bridge to the Vulture St Exit 2 and Stanley St onramp.

  From mid-February 2013, Transcity will close a lower section of Sir Samuel Griffith Drive to create increased car parking for the Legacy Way project.
  
  Due to the capacity of the current workforce car parking, approximately 150 additional car spaces are required in this area.
  
  Construction of car spaces on both sides of the lower section of Sir Samuel Griffith Drive will take approximately four to six weeks.
  
  Access to the area will not be available to the general public until 2015.
  
  Construction of a car park in this location has been approved by the Queensland Coordinator General and Brisbane City Council.
  
  Local residents and key stakeholders have been notified of this activity.

• MOUNT GRAVATT - PACIFIC MOTORWAY (SOUTH EAST FREEWAY) 08:00 PM 15/04/2013

  Please be advised that there will be night works on the Pacific Motorway between Mt Gravatt and Eight Mile Plains to install guardrails, remove transit (T2) lanes and reconfigure all lanes from Monday 15 April to mid 2013 between 8pm and 5am.
  
  Reduced speed limits, minor delays, lane closures and traffic control will be on site. Please drive to the conditions and plan your trip accordingly.
  

• MURPHYS CREEK - MURPHYS CREEK ROAD (ODIN STREET) 08:30 AM 28/05/2013
  

  Murphys Creek Road, Murphys Creek - Commencing: 28 May, at 8:30am planned roadworks are taking place Both Directions.
  All lanes affected. Short delays expected. Observe signage. Expected completion is 01 October, at 6:00pm.
  
  Repair works are currently taking place on Murphys Creek Road and will be completed by end of May 2013.
  
  Once the works are completed, TMR will advise the road is available as an alternative route to the Toowoomba Range for cars and light trucks.
  
  Motorists using Murphys Creek Road are urged to exercise caution and be mindful of the amenity of residents living on this road and the safety of all road users.
  
  Works on the Toowoomba Range have been ramped up with two lanes operating on the up lanes while adjacent work continues. This is expected to be carried out by the end of June, weather permitting.
  
  There will still be delays, but TMR are continuing to put in place a number of measures to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum.
  
  

• PLAINLAND - WARREGO HIGHWAY 06:00 AM 27/05/2013
  

  Warrego Highway, Plainland - Commencing: 27 May, at 6:00am planned roadworks are taking place Both Directions - At Cemetery Road and Leschke Road intersection.

  The Department of Transport and Main Roads is carrying out works on the Warrego Highway at the intersection with Cemetery Road and Leschke Road in Plainland to improve safety for motorists.
  
  The intersection upgrade will be carried from 27 May to the end of June from 6am to 4pm, weather permitting.
  
  Minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits through the work site may be expected. Traffic controllers will be on-site when required to ensure safety of road workers and motorists.
  

• ROCHEDALE - GATEWAY MOTORWAY (GATEWAY ARTERIAL ROAD, PACIFIC MOTORWAY) 09:00 AM 18/02/2013
  

  Gateway Motorway, Rochedale - Commencing: 18 February, at 9:00am planned roadworks are taking place Both Directions.
  Partial lane closures. Short delays expected. Changed traffic conditions. Expected completion is 31 December, at 9:00am.
  
  The Australian Government and Queensland Government are jointly funding the upgrade of the Gateway Motorway southbound on-ramp to the Pacific Motorway. In addition, the Queensland Government has contributed funding towards the extension of the South East Busway. Works commenced in late 2012 and are scheduled for completion in 2014, weather and construction conditions permitting. Works will be carried out Monday to Friday between 6am and 5pm and Saturdays 6am to 2pm, with some night works and Sundays as required.
  Minor traffic delays, lane closures and reduced speed limits through the work site may be expected. Traffic controllers will be on-site when required to ensure safety of road workers, motorists and pedestrians.
  Works will include:
  Realigning a section of the Gateway Motorway on-ramp to the Pacific Motorway to improve safety.
  Lengthening the on-ramp by 500 meters to provide motorists more time to merge.

  Temporary closures: Nev Smith Drive, Springfield (June – August 2013)
  
  Temporary closures will occur on Nev Smith Drive, Springfield near Springfield Link Bridge from June until August 2013.
  
  A full closure (both lanes) will take place from Monday 24 June to Monday 8 July.
  
  When these works are complete, the northbound lane will re-open to traffic, however, the southbound lane will remain closed until Monday 26 August.
  
  These closures are necessary for works to be undertaken safely on Springfield Station, which is scheduled for completion in December 2013.
  
  A 2.3km detour will be in place along:
  1. Nev Smith Drive, Springfield
  2. Woodcrest Way, Springfield
  3. Springfield Parkway, Springfield
  4. Nev Smith Drive, Springfield
  
  Signage will be in place to direct motorists.
  
  Access to Woodcrest State College parking facilities located on Woodcrest Way will not be affected by these temporary closures.

  From Tuesday 23 April 2013, weather permitting, works will be undertaken to close the right-turn in to Gardners Road from the Bruce Highway.
  Motorists will still be able to turn left into Gardners Road from the highway, and right out of Gardners Road onto the highway. Only the right-turn movements into Gardners Road from the highway will be banned.
  This temporary restriction is for the intersection improvement works on the Bruce Highway at Gardners and Pomona Connection roads. This change to the way Gardners Road is accessed by motorists travelling southbound on the highway will remain in place until the eastern end of Gardners Road is realigned and a new intersection is constructed in late 2013.
  Temporarily prohibiting right-turn movements into Gardners Road from the highway is necessary to maintain safe access to Gardners Road and minimise disruptions to motorists travelling on the highway.
  Road signage will be in place along the highway to advise motorists of the changed conditions.

  The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) would like to advise you that work to install traffic signals at the intersection of Steve Irwin Way, Hardwood Road and Railway Street in Landsborough is scheduled to begin by early July 2013 and be completed within three months, weather permitting.
  
  The $1.5 million intersection upgrade is part of the state government’s Safer Roads Sooner program to improve road safety for road users and will include: the installation of traffic signals with pedestrian facilities,minor road widening,kerb realignment,upgraded road lighting and drainage works.
  
  Work will generally be carried out during the day between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Nightworks will also be required during certain weeks between 6pm and 6am, Sunday to Thursday. For the safety of roadworkers and motorists, changed traffic conditions including lane closures and speed reductions will be in place.
  
  While every effort will be made to minimise disruptions, nearby residents may experience some noise while the work is underway. TMR will write to nearby residents to provide advanced notification of the works.

  The construction of a new southbound overtaking lane is taking shape, and is only a few months away for full utilisation.
  Haulage trucks enter and leave the project site each day to bring material in for the construction on the tram rail overpass. Speed restrictions have been in place on the entire 5km project site, TMR asks all motorists to adhere to these restrictions as police enforcement regularly patrols this section of the highway

  The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will reconstruct 17 sites across 37.8km of the Palmerston Highway between Shaws Corner and Beatrice River to repair damage incurred in the 2010/2011 wet weather events.
  
  To enable the work to continue safely for motorists and road workers, reduced speed limits will be in place. The highway will be reduced to one lane at work sites and traffic controllers will assist with the flow of traffic. Traffic lights will operate during non-working hours. Some delays can be expected. Motorists are urged to obey changed traffic conditions and allow additional travel time while these important repairs are carried out.
  
  
  The reconstruction work is being delivered under Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA), a joint federal and state initiative. Under NDRRA funding, the Federal Government contributes 75 per cent of the funding with 25 per cent from the Queensland Government.

  Work is well underway for the new intersection upgrade at the Woolcock Street / Mather Street intersection
  Access to Mather Street north and south via Woolcock Street will remain closed until the end of June 2013
  Ergon Energy have commenced the lighting works for this project
  Motorists will encounter heavy traffic volumes during his period and are advised to seek alternative routes
  Traffic controllers and speed restrictions are in place for the duration of the works and motorists will experience longer than normal delays
  Width restrictions also apply, therefore all loads wider than 3.5m are required to contact Greg Munro on 0439 898 827 a minimum of 48 hours prior to passing through this section of road

  Yeppoon Road, Yeppoon - Commencing: 18 June, at 12:47pm planned roadworks are taking place Both Directions - 1 site between Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
  No blockage. Short delays expected. Changed traffic conditions. Expected completion is 30 September, at 6:00pm.
  
  Reconstruction roadworks are underway on Rockhampton - Yeppoon Road (one site between Rockhampton and Yeppoon). Delays of up to 15 minutes at each site can be expected. Motorists should drive to the changed conditions follow all signage for their own safety and the safety of road workers.
