SUMMARY OF ACCESS STATUS ON MAJOR ROADS ACROSS QUEENSLAND

The following provides a summary of access status for major roads across Queensland for both general travel and heavy vehicle industry travel. These are available as a downloadable file in a portable document format (PDF) and are time and date stamped.

WEATHER RELATED HEAVY VEHICLE AND FREIGHT RESTRICTIONS

To improve and maintain the connectivity of the road network across Queensland, a number of heavy vehicle and freight restrictions are in place and are available from the Heavy Vehicle Industry Road Report.

The following regional road reports are provided as a point-in-time reference only. The reports are produced hourly seven days a week.

 

For the most up to date road status information, please check the full textual list of road closures listed above as they are updated as soon as conditions change.

 



Flood Maps

The following flood maps are provided as a point-in-time reference only. The maps do not replace the full textual list of road closures listed above as they are updated as conditions change. The maps are provided as a visual representation of road closures currently affecting the road network at an individual regional level. Maps are updated by close of business on the first business day of the week.

 

Please note maps are only provided for regions with active road closures due to wet weather and flooding, if a region does not have any active road closures there will be no map provided.

 

The flood maps now display five colours in use that represent conditions of affected roads. A legend is now available at the top of each map. The colours being:

 

Purple for 4WD / High Clearance
Blue for Open (with conditions) 
 Pink for Excess Mass or Dimensions
Orange for Load restriction 
 Brown for Closed
